Information on the NBN Conference 2016

NBN Conference 2016 theme

The theme of the conference is ‘Going with the flow: Supporting the NBN Data Flow Pathway’.  As the title suggests, this will focus on the stages of the data flow pathway across the two days.

Format

We received very positive feedback from last year’s conference in York, especially in relation to the two day format and moving around the UK.  You asked for more interaction throughout the conference with increased time for questions, and for the venue to be closer to public transport links.

With this in mind, this year’s two day conference will be held at the National Museums Scotland, which is within walking distance of Edinburgh Waverley Station. We have also built more time for questions into the programme as well as regular breaks for networking.

Programme

We have built in a full afternoon of workshops on Thursday 17th November.  You will need to select which workshop you wish to join when you complete your registration form.  Places are limited, so please don’t forget to book!
