Website user testing

The UK Data Service is looking for people to take part in user testing its website to help improve its systems. The organisation is interested in hearing from anyone who has experience of using social, economic or population data for analysis, ranging from complete beginners to expert users. You don’t need to have used the UK Data Service before (although it is also fine if you have!).

The user testing will be in the format of one-to-one sessions, held between October 2019 – January 2020. The sessions will take no longer than one and a half hours and can be held on-site in either Manchester or Colchester, or accessed remotely. They can offer a £10 voucher as a token of appreciation for your time and feedback.  For the remote session, you will need to have access to a computer, and have audio that enables you to both listen and speak. You must also be willing to share your screen, so the testers can see how you interact with the interface.
