This year, the NBN Trust is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
It was incorporated as a public limited company on 3 April 2000 and then registered as a charitable company limited by guarantee on 25 August 2000, giving cause for double celebrations!
We have created an infographic to help summarise some of the achievements we have made during the 20 years, which you can see below and we have some celebratory logos too.
We are also producing a document which will look back at the history of the NBN Trust and the NBN and this will be published later in the year.
This year’s NBN Conference will further reflect on the year in which we celebrate our history, with the theme of “The NBN Trust at 20 – Changing Times”. More details on this will be announced in due course.
As data are the mainstay of the NBN Trust’s work, we will also be highlighting 20 datasets from the last 20 years over the coming months.
