Environmental Monitoring and Data Systems Innovation Survey

Global demand for environmental monitoring technologies and data systems is expected to increase, due to an increasing awareness of the implications of environmental pollution and change. Tracking progress of long-term goals in environmental quality, animal health, waste, water management, nature recovery and other areas is crucially important.

The Chief Scientific Advisor’s Office in Defra is scoping out what support the environmental monitoring sector needs to deliver products and services that Defra could benefit from. The Defra team is interested in hearing from a wide range of organisations about the opportunities and challenges faced by those working on environmental monitoring innovation, including the associated data systems that enable analysis of the data. It’s also interested in exploring what could be done to support innovation in environmental monitoring.

If you’re interested in contributing to Defra’s understanding of the landscape, please have a look at their Environmental Monitoring and Data Systems Innovation survey by Monday 5th September. The survey has just 8 questions, which are mainly multiple choice.
