Survey into the use of the Biodiversity Metric 2.0

Simon Peach, an undergraduate student from Lancaster University who is working within the Lancaster Environment Centre, would like your help with a survey he is undertaking.

His dissertation research is being carried out in partnership with Natural England to investigate the use of biodiversity metrics within development projects.

This survey is designed for anyone who works within the biodiversity conservation field including, but not limited to, Ecologists, Commercial Developers and Conservation Practitioners. The biodiversity metric is due to be rolled out across the UK by Natural England in the coming years.

He would be grateful if you could take two minutes to complete the survey and contribute to his research, which will help to inform metric design and policy for biodiversity conservation/enhancement within England and will help to maximise ecological gain in development of an area.

All answers will remain anonymous.

The survey will close on 1 December.
