It’s time to show the world what the future of the UK seafood industry looks like – the Seafood Innovation Fund is now open for applications.
The programme aims to foster, encourage and financially support innovative technologies and methods to support more sustainable and productive fisheries and seafood production. Through stimulating the development of new transformative technological innovation, it will contribute to both the government’s ambition for UK world-class sustainable fisheries and aquaculture and, more broadly, contribute to economic growth by improving the productivity of the sector and helping create new markets and products from innovative and sustainable fisheries both in the UK and overseas. This funding programme is focussed on the development of tangible, meaningful and long-lasting benefits to overcome the many challenges facing the fishing and aquaculture industries.
How to apply
Visit the Delta online portal to register your details. Once registered, you will be able to download all relevant documents and guidance for your application. Please note that ALL applications must be submitted via Delta and will not be accepted from any other source.
Please direct any queries about your application via the Delta portal, where questions will be collated and answers made available for the benefit of all applicants.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions about the fund to help with your application at two webinars, scheduled for:
- Tuesday 30th July 10:00 – 11:00
- Wednesday 14th August 10:00 – 11:00
