RSPB Nature of Scotland Awards

The Nature of Scotland Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding achievement in Scottish nature conservation.

The Awards took place on Thursday 24th November at the Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh and were hosted by wildlife TV presenter Chris Packham. During the presentation, guests learned more about those who had reached the shortlist and found out who the winners were.

The NBN was thrilled to be shortlisted for the NBN Atlas Scotland in the Innovation category, but sadly wasn’t chosen as the winner – this year.

The winner in this category was the James Hutton Institute – Magic Margins, so huge congratulations to this project.

You can find out more about the winners and the shortlisted nominees on the Nature of Scotland website

We were also thrilled to see Craig Macadam recognised as the RSPB Species Champion, so well done to Craig!

As for the NBN Atlas Scotland, here’s to the 2017 Awards!
