The UK is home to some of the most incredible species on Earth – from puffins to orcas, beavers and butterflies. But they’re in trouble. Our actions are pushing nature to the brink, and we must act now to save it.
It will take fresh new thinking to solve the nature crisis. This is a big challenge and that’s why we all need to come together to share ideas and suggestions for the future of nature in the UK.
Everyone can take part in creating the People’s Plan for Nature
The biggest ever conversation about nature
Create a shared vision for nature in the UK
All of the responses received will help shape the People’s Assembly for Nature.
Between November and February 2023, a representative group of 100 people from across the UK will be selected to take part in the People’s Assembly for Nature. They will come together to listen to what you’ve shared and hear from experts. Together, they will develop a set of recommendations and a plan to help protect and restore nature in the UK.
Work together to save nature
When the People’s Plan for Nature is published, it will be too big for anyone to ignore. The plan will set out how the government, businesses, NGOs and communities can take action to protect and restore nature. Together, we can all play our part to save nature.
Who is involved?
The People’s Plan for Nature is a UK-wide initiative powered by WWF, the National Trust and the RSPB. It is a unique, people-led collaboration to make our nature something we can all be proud of.
