NBN Atlas is highly commended!

We were delighted that the NBN Atlas received a highly commended award at the CIEEM awards in late June.

The CIEEM Awards are an annual celebration of practical ecology and environmental management and highlight fantastic projects, individuals and organisations that make a difference to improving our natural environment.

The NBN Atlas had been nominated in the NGO Impact Award, which was won by The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country for their Birmingham and Black Country Nature Improvement Area.

We were also pleased that the winner in the Best Practice Knowledge Sharing category was TomBio QGIS plugin from the Field Studies Council.  So, well done to Rich Burkmar and the team at the FSC’s Tomorrow’s Biodiversity (Tom.bio) project!

A list of all of the Award winners can be found on the CIEEM website.
