FSC free wildlife guides

Field Studies Council (FSC), has thousands of easy-to-use guides to send to people in England aged 16–25 and those working with this age group.

FSC has these guides to share thanks to the wonderful support from the Generation Green project funded by DEFRA in partnership with National Lottery Heritage Fund, led by Youth Hostel Association. Generation Green is an ambitious project which will support 100,000 young people and teachers/youth leaders to better understand the environment and green economy.

You simply need to register to receive your free wildlife ID guides in the post to connect with nature where you live, study or work.

There are six pairs of guides to choose from: Birds, Insects, Backbone (mammals, reptiles and amphibians), Plants, Marine, and Phase 1 habitat surveys.

Register by 5pm on 10 June 2021 for your chance to receive two ID guides in the post in July 2021. Registration is easy and takes just a moment. Free guides are limited though, so please register quickly.
