City Nature Challenge is back!
Join nature enthusiasts from over 500+ cities taking part in the world’s largest digital BioBlitz event – from Friday 26 – Monday 29 April 2024. 22 city regions from across the UK are taking part this year, with residents collecting vital information about local wildlife – you can find out if your city is taking part, and join your city’s project page here.
Your sightings can be anywhere, from a garden to a local green space or city street – every record can help scientists learn about our wildlife.
You don’t have to be an expert to take part – simply download the free iNaturalist.org app, and submit a photo of the nature you spot, whether that’s a plant, animal or fungi.
