Further to the news in September’s and August’s Network News regarding the NBN Forum, we can confirm that this is now offline.
As previously reported, we have downloaded all of the content from the Forum, including attachments, which means the historic information is safe until it has a new home.
ALERC (Association of Local Environmental Records Centres) is still investigating whether it can host a Forum or other collaborative site on its website and further updates will be given when they are available.
In the meantime, Mike Weideli is continuing to provide support for Recorder 6 wherever possible and users should periodically check www.Recorder6.info regarding new dictionary updates. We will also advise about dictionary updates via Network News.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the NBN Forum over the years. We know it has been an important source of help and advice and we hope that an alternative fora will be available via ALERC, or other members of the NBN, soon.
