CEH funded PhD studentships

Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (CEH) is offering two funded PhD studentships relating to invasive species.

Studentship one

The first studentship is on evolutionary adaptation during Danish scurvygrass invasion and will be based at CEH Edinburgh. It would suit a student interested in eco-evolutionary dynamics and will involve experimental and population genetic work and a small amount of modelling.

More information can be found in the NERC overview document

Studentship two

The second studentship is about adaptive management of invasive species the value of gaining information about the invader to refine and adapt management. It is modelling focused so would suit someone with that kind of interest or background. There is flexibility about the location, either Imperial College Silwood Park or CEH Edinburgh.
