Plantlife is seeking responses from people and organisations who are involved or have been involved in the translocation of vascular plants, fungi, lichens or bryophytes for conservation purposes. It wants to inform its understanding of translocation knowledge networks across the UK.
Undertaking a translocation requires considerable species-specific understanding, and generates valuable data which can be shared and built-on to inform future conservation work. Currently however, translocation research networks are fragmented and disjointed, and accessing information on translocation can be problematic since data is stored in different ways across various sources.
Please help Plantlife by answering a questionnaire to help build its understanding of the UK translocation landscape, and to assess the potential value of producing an online directory to store and share translocation-related information.
Please submit your responses by Wednesday 12th February 2025. The survey should take no longer than 15-20 minutes.
