The Nature Intelligence Unit is an open innovation project seeking to engage wider audiences in nature based citizen science. The project has hatched through a series of development phases including participation from many organisations from the State of Nature partnership and NBN itself. The next phase of the project is bringing together diverse disciplines to prototype new ways to widen engagement in nature based citizen science. As part of this enquiry we have been consulting some of the science community around the types of tasks and challenges in pressing need of more participation.
