We’re delighted to announce that the FSC BioLinks project is now up and running!
The project will be bringing a host of invertebrate identification & recording training courses and events to the West Midlands and South East England. It will also be exploring what digital tools and resources can be produced to help support invertebrate identification and biological recording.
Meet the team and where the project is working
The FSC BioLinks project will be working in 3 areas
West Midlands
Charlie will continue to build on the FSC’s invertebrate identification and training work in Shropshire and expand out into Worcestershire and Birmingham.
South East England
London, Berkshire and Surrey will be home to a series of invertebrate identification training courses and recording events organised by Keiron. The first of these events are now open for bookings and listed below.
Digital
Rich will be expanding on the work he started with the FSC Tomorrow’s Biodiversity project. This will begin with a series of workshops centred around the TomBio ID Visualisation Framework. He’s currently looking for organisations interested in hosting these workshops, so get in touch with him if your organisation is interested in running one of these workshops.
Invertebrate focus
Invertebrates are the focus of this 5-year project. The 10 month consultation resulted in the species groups below being chosen.
