APRS, Scotland’s countryside charity, and Planning Democracy are teaming up to run a series of webinars, on a theme of Nature and Planning. Starting in November the events will run monthly ending with an in-person event in March.
They will look at how communities can better understand, and have a voice in, planning decisions near them, particularly around the area of protecting local biodiversity and nature.
More information on all of the webinars can be found on the APRS website
The next webinar is “Biodiversity and new development – Recording what is in our areas” on Wednesday 4 December 2024. The Wildlife Information Centre (TWIC) will talk about their role in building an understanding of what nature there is in different areas and how they work with communities.
