On the 20 October, the Natural History Consortium announced the results of EuroBioBlitz 2023.
During the 48 hours of EuroBioBlitz, 64,397 records of wildlife were made on iNaturalist across Europe. This included 8374 species, recorded by 8720 people! 32,637 of these records have been identified to “research grade” level so far. These records are of huge value to scientists and researchers, who can use these records to help us get a better understanding of our natural world.
