If you’re looking to gain experience for an environmental career, don’t miss out on this opportunity from the Field Studies Council (FSC).
Back for 2023, the Young Darwin Scholarship is open to anyone aged between 16- 25 who has an interest in the natural world – and to celebrate the FSC’s 80th anniversary, 80 scholarships are available!
What does a Young Darwin Scholarship provide?
- A chance to gain practical experience and knowledge on species identification, conservation, habitat management, wildlife surveying and more!
- A residential or series of days where you can learn from the experts whilst exploring a range of landscapes and habitats.
- The opportunity to meet inspirational speakers, experts and like-minded people.
- Ongoing support from the Field Studies Council after the in-person event.
The Field Studies Council covers 90% of the costs, and you cover a small 10% contribution (£45 – £90) for an unforgettable experience with continuing support afterwards. You can find more information on the Field Studies Council website, plus details about the application process.
Applications close at 9pm on the 4th of June 2023.
