The INNS Mapper Redevelopment project aims to create a multiplatform tool to aid stakeholders involved in surveying and managing wide-spread Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) in England, Wales and Scotland. As well as expanding the current INNS Mapper to cover Wales and Scotland, the redevelopment will allow the reporting of the management of INNS, in addition to INNS sightings. INNS Mapper will be available as a mobile application and website, incorporate a verification system for submitted records and will ensure a free and open source of data.
The INNS Mapper redevelopment steering group would like feedback on three key aspects of the new INNS Mapper:
- What invasive non-native species (INNS) can be reported
- What types of management can be reported
- What information is included in the content of a report
Please review the summary tables and information in INNS Mapper Redevelopment Information Sheet and complete the short survey to submit your feedback.
All questions are optional and no personal information is collected unless you provide your email address to be contacted for further information.
The survey takes 15 minutes to complete and will close on Wednesday 21 December 2022.
