Welsh £6m Nature Fund

The Welsh Government wants ideas to help inform how to make best use of its new £6m Nature Fund. Ideas need to be practical action for managing land and water that will benefit nature, create opportunities for new jobs and income and support communities.  Click here to read the information from the Natural Resource Management Programme.

There will be an opportunity to discuss the  ideas at a series of morning workshops to be held on the following dates:

•       Monday 2 December (10:00 -12:00) – Welsh Government offices, Merthyr Tydfil

•       Wednesday 4 December (10:00 -12:00)  – Welsh Government offices, Aberystwyth

•       Monday 9 December (10:00 – 12:00) – Welsh Government offices, Llandudno Junction

These sessions have been organised to coincide with the consultation workshops on the Environment Bill White Paper which will take place in  the afternoon on the same dates/venues as above.

Spaces will be limited so if you would like to attend please email naturalresourcemanagement@wales.gsi.gov.uk specifying your preferred location.

Please note that the workshops are there to help people develop ideas and are not part of any bidding process.
