The Linnean Society of London is looking for nominations for the John Spedan Lewis Emerging Leader Award 2024. This Award celebrates a nature champion whose initiative has had a notable positive impact on the UK natural environment.
The 2023 winner is Kwesia – also known as City Girl in Nature – for her work in connecting inner city communities with nature.
There are no age limits to nominees and the Linnean Society welcomes nominations celebrating both professionals and non-professionals. Areas of impact include climate and environmental activism and campaigning, nature conservation and research, practical interventions (habitat improvement) and the study of wild plants and animals.
