I joined the NBN Trust as Head of Finance and Operations, bringing with me a broad background in finance, operations and organisational management across the not-for-profit and public sectors.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a range of areas including financial management, governance, audit and assurance, performance management and data analysis. I have a particular interest in using data and evidence to support good decision-making, improve processes and help organisations work effectively.

My previous experience includes working within the NHS, supporting information analysis, reporting and clinical audit, as well as leading finance and operational functions within the charity sector.

I’m pleased to be working for an organisation where data has such an important role in supporting a greater understanding of the natural world and helping to inform decisions about biodiversity and conservation.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband and two children. I enjoy martial arts and reading, and have an interest in nature and the environment, particularly the importance of protecting biodiversity. It’s great to be working for an organisation whose work contributes to understanding and safeguarding the natural world.
