NBN Atlas Scotland Stakeholder Engagement Day

Location:
Battleby Conference Centre, near Perth
Starts:
Thursday 21 June 2018, 10:00
Ends:
Thursday 21 June 2018, 15:30

This is an open invitation to anyone in the biodiversity community in Scotland who would like to learn more about, and contribute to the development of, the NBN Atlas Scotland.  There will also be an opportunity to hear more about the Scottish Biodiversity Information Forum’s Review of the Biological Recording Infrastructure in Scotland.

The NBN Atlas Scotland is an online biodiversity data portal that is freely available to use and is part of the family of NBN Atlases.

We want your input to help the NBN Atlas Scotland become a powerful and useful tool. Come along to learn more about the Atlas, and to give your ideas on how we can make it better. The day will consist of demos, presentations, and workshop-style group discussions, and will give you plenty of opportunity to learn about the NBN Atlas Scotland, as well as allowing you to be part of the on-going discussions on development.

The day is open to all, both experienced and novice users of the NBN Atlas Scotland. We just ask that you have familiarised yourself with the site ahead of the day and are willing to contribute to discussions in a workshop setting.

We will also be including a session that will focus on how people and organisations are using the NBN Atlas and NBN Atlas Scotland.  If you would like to contribute to this session (in a 5-10min short talk) please get in touch with Christine Johnston
