Every Species Counts: Biological recording & Conservation in a Changing World
Saturday 14 November 2026
Stirling Court Hotel, University of Stirling

Join the TWIC team for an engaging programme of talks on the conference theme, interesting exhibits and open mic talks, and the chance to meet others involved in wildlife recording and conservation in SE/central Scotland.

Talks include: Orchids, Shifting Ranges and Changing Names – Dr Richard Milne (University of Edinburgh) and The Ripple Effect: How Wildlife and Pathogens are Responding to Restoration on the Allan Water – Charlotte Neary (Forth Rivers Trust), Ilze Brila & Phillip Watts (Jyväskylä University).

The event aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and inspire others to get involved. If you’d like to provide an exhibit or poster, please let us know your requirements on the booking form.

There will be raffle tickets on sale to help support the event. Prizes include a wine tour, and tickets to Blair Drummond Safari Park! The cost of a ticket includes a finger buffet lunch and teas/coffees.

Anyone interested in wildlife recording and conservation is welcome to attend.

A buffet lunch and teas/coffees will be provided as part of the ticket price. The accessible venue can be reached via public transport (the Unilink bus connects the train station and university bus hub) and there is free car parking on site.
