Here are the latest updates from the National Education Nature Park team.
Atlas and ‘Hubsite’
The Nature Park Atlas is progressing well. Esri have handed in the first draft which is currently being reviewed. Accompanying resources are being developed at the same time.
New and improved activities for EYFS now live (with more to come)
- Continuous provision stations for EYFS now have their own activity pages
- Role play ideas now formatted into its own activity
- EYFS-specific model making activity also now live
Some website improvements and updates
- Improvements to the small activity listing component mean it can now list articles as well as activity pages on the ‘what’s next’ components
- The new card component is helping to improve the Get started page for users
- The spacing on the website has been reduced in response to DPP asks
- URN automation work has been released on the website, you might not notice it, but it will keep the eligible settings list more up to date – helping to get new settings registered as quickly as possible
- The contact us page now lets website users know the team will try to get back to them within 10 working days.
