Join TWIC (The Wildlife Information Centre) for a 1-day workshop at Vogrie Country Park on an ‘Introduction to the Ants of south and central Scotland’. Led by specialist, Andrew Jarman, the morning session will be classroom-based and will introduce you to the ant species in our area, their lifestyles, where to find them, and how to identify them for recording purposes. There will also be a chance to key specimens using microscopes. In the afternoon we’ll head into the grounds of Vogrie Country Park to find and record ants.
