The third festival celebrating the insect world takes place on 7th July. The event is open to the general public.
The Insect Festival is organised by the Royal Entomological Society (RES) and takes place in York every two years, during the summer.
The event focuses on a wide range of insect-related exhibitions and a selection of carefully chosen trade stands in the Hospitium and grounds of the Yorkshire Museum Gardens. Insect hunts and other activities will also take place
throughout the Museum Gardens.
