The Wildlife Information Centre (TWIC) is running this introductory workshop covering all you need to know to get started with wildlife recording in SE and central Scotland.

During lock-down there has been a growing appreciation and interest in our local environment and wildlife. This short introductory talk will explain how your observations can be translated into meaningful and valuable wildlife recordings that will contribute to both local and national conservation efforts. The workshop will also include a demo using the iRecord website for submitting wildlife recordings, followed by a question and answer session.

The workshop will be hosted on Zoom and TWIC will send out joining instructions prior to the event.  The workshop is suitable for beginners and will take around 75 minutes including questions.

Cost: Choose either the free ticket type or the donation ticket type. Donations to TWIC will support its work in organising biological recording training workshops and events.

BOOKING ESSENTIAL. To book onto this workshop please follow this link.

Please note that this workshop will be repeated on Friday 4 September 2020 at 7pm.
