Learn, get inspired, and take action at Communicate conference 2022
The UK’s annual conference for environmental communicators is back. Come together with delegates across the UK at the two-day online conference 15-16 November 2022. Develop your skills, share best practice, and debate the latest issues in science communication, nature conservation and engaging people with the natural world.
Communicate has been attracting NGO’s, academics, content creators, businesses, and local and national policy makers at the cross-sector event since 2004, adapting from in-person to online and hybrid formats.
It is a crucial year for the environment, and as organisations and audiences continue to face challenges, the Bristol-based charity, The Natural History Consortium, has pulled together a programme packed full of opportunities, inspiration, and practical help alongside facilitated and open networking sessions.
The theme of this year’s conference, ‘Amplifying Awareness, Focusing Action’, offers participants the opportunity to delve into the heart of environmental communication in a changing world and an increasingly challenging comms landscape.
Communicate 2022 will be held online on November 15-16, with an additional option to attend a day of in-person workshops and masterclasses at The Royal Geographical Society in London (Day 1, November 15) and Clifton Pavilion at Bristol Zoo Gardens (Day 2, November 16).
Passes for the two-day online conference cost £25 +VAT per delegate. Passes for the in-person workshops and masterclass days in London or Bristol cost £75 +VAT per delegate.
The jam packed online and in-person programme for this year’s conference boasts an impressive 45 unique sessions across two days, from talks and keynote speeches to workshops, roundtable debates and networking opportunities.
