Biological Recording in Scotland (BRISC) is holding its annual Conference on 12 October 2019.
This year the event will be held in Edinburgh at the City of Edinburgh Methodist Church, 25 Nicolson Square, Edinburgh EH8 9BX. The theme is Museums, Collections & Biological Recording and the programme includes speakers from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, National Museums Scotland, and Glasgow Museums Resource Centre.There will also be an opportunity to hear from recent BRISC bursary recipients.
A short AGM will follow lunch, after which the optional sessions for the afternoon will include a screening of the film Love Bugs; a field visit to Holyrood Park; or a tour of National Museum of Scotland. Everyone with an interest in biological recording is welcome to attend, and booking is essential.
