An introduction to identifying broad-leaved trees in winter

This online course, led by TWIC Manager, Natalie Harmsworth, will provide an introduction to identifying broadleaved trees in winter and is intended for the beginner. The session will cover:

  • Key features of bare stems and winter buds required for identification of winter trees
  • An overview of the most commonly encountered species
  • A demonstration of keying specimens using the Winter Trees AIDGAP guide

The workshop will be hosted on Zoom with joining instructions sent out prior to the event.
