Yorkshire Naturalists’ Union

Recording the ever-changing flora and fauna of Yorkshire for over 150 years. We are an association of amateur and professional naturalists covering a wide range of aspects of natural history. We study the ‘old’ county of Yorkshire, as individuals and through our many Affiliated Societies, many of which are local naturalists’ groups. The YNU organises field meetings, training sessions and conferences throughout the county to which all are welcome (visit our Events Page to find out more about how you can join in).
