The National Pond Monitoring Network (NPMN)

As the National Pond Monitoring Network develops it will enable us to report on the state of the UK’s ponds, and identify ponds of particular importance for biodiversity, to ensure these valuable habitats receive the recognition and protection they deserve.

Pond species ranging from newts, water beetles and reeds.
