Dumfries and Galloway Biological Records Centre

The Dumfries and Galloway Environmental Resources Centre (DGERC) is hosted by Southern Uplands Partnership, a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity. The Centre aims to further the appreciation, understanding and protection of the natural environment of Dumfries and Galloway by collecting, collating, managing and safeguarding relevant data and providing a focal point through which anyone may access the information. The DGERC was officially launched by Mr Allan Wilson, former Deputy Minister for the Environment and Rural Development, on Monday 13th September 2004 and is one of many Local Record Centres around the UK.
