Welcome the Lacewings and Allies Recording Scheme. This site aims to provide information, images and identification aids for the 82 species within the orders: Neuroptera, Megaloptera, Raphidioptera and Mecoptera which inhabit the British Isles. The recording scheme will work in collaboration with iRecord to provide data on the distribution of each species. This data will also feed into the National Biodiversity Network.
