Earthwatch has brought together a great panel of speakers to discuss and debate one of the greatest challenges facing society – declining freshwater quality.
Growing population, expanding cities, intensive agriculture, industrial development and increasing consumer demands are severely impacting upon fresh water everywhere.
The panel is:
• Tony Juniper (Chair), a leading environmentalist whose book What Nature Does for Britain was published this week
• Professor Steven Loiselle, Earthwatch's Senior Freshwater Research Manager,
• Cate Lamb, Head of Water at Carbon Disclosure Project
• Dr. Pascale Nicolet of the Freshwater Habitats Trust
