It will take place from midday, Sunday June the 23rd until midday on Monday the 24th and is being run in partnership with Cornwall Wildlife Trust. The base camp will be situated in the Mill Pool Car park and the survey site will be the biggest area yet, incorporating the entire Voluntary Marine Conservation Area (VMCA) and surrounding, coast, estuary and woodlands.

The purpose of the BioBlitz is to raise public awareness of the wildlife and ecology of the local area, as well as to produce a useful species inventory for the area and identify any species of conservation importance.

More information about this year’s Bioblitz will be uploaded on the MBA’s Facebook page and MBA website in due course.
