Introductory workshop covering all you need to know to get started with wildlife recording in SE and central Scotland.

About this event

A short introductory talk will cover how your observations can be translated into meaningful and valuable wildlife records that will contribute to both local and national conservation efforts. The workshop will also include a demonstration in using the iRecord website for submitting wildlife records, followed by a question and answer session.

The workshop will be hosted on Zoom and joining instructions will be sent out prior to the event.

Suitable for: beginners

Duration: Circa 75 minutes including questions

Cost: Choose either the free ticket type or the donation ticket type (minimum donation £1). Donations to TWIC will support our work in organising biological recording training workshops and events.

Tutor: This session will be led by Natalie Harmsworth, Centre Manager at The Wildlife Information Centre (TWIC). Natalie has over 11 years’ experience working in conservation. and has a good all-round knowledge of British wildlife, but plants have always been her passion.
