Data Management Workshop Online booking form

Location:
The training venue is the Enterprise Suite on the 9th floor of Centre City Tower, Hill Street, Birmingham, B5 4UA
Starts:
Tuesday 20 March 2012, 10:00

Following the success of the biodiversity data management tools workshops that were run in London and Edinburgh last year, this is another chance to take part in hands-on interactive sessions to learn about Indicia, the NBN Gateway and Record Cleaner.   This workshop also includes a lot of brand new content, with demonstrations of new tools and software for the management of habitat and land use data, the use of web services in Local Record Centre applications and a variety of systems for online data management.

The aim of this workshop is to help biodiversity data managers incorporate these tools into their own data management systems and to obtain their feedback to ensure that future developments deliver maximum benefits to the biodiversity data management community.

The workshop starts at 10.00am with registration from 09:30am.

The three-hour sessions will give participants hands-on practice at using the tools and software, while the one-hour sessions consist of live demonstrations and presentations by the tutor.  More information on each workshop session can be found by clicking here

Unfortunately all the sessions are now full and therefore bookings have now closed.  Please keep an eye out for future courses!

Please contact Paula Lightfoot for any further information.
