Dr Carlos Bedson will be giving a talk on:

“Designing a climate change resilient landscape connectivity network from a multi-species perspective”

Abstract: Comparing species locations from NBN Atlas records and environmental data, we apply algorithms to identify where species move, supporting meta population processes.

Dr Bedson is a Quantitative Spatial Ecologist for Natural England, the UK government’s official adviser for the natural environment in England, working across ecological, earth, economic and social sciences. Collaborating with partners, it safeguards and enhances biodiversity and geodiversity for people and nature.
