Dr Emma Cartledge will be giving a talk on:

“Combining technology and citizen science to run a new National Hedgehog Monitoring Programme”

Abstract: This talk provides an introduction to the pilot National Hedgehog Monitoring Programme and the use of citizen science, AI and other technologies within the project.

Emma is a Research Fellow at Nottingham Trent University, a top performing modern UK university, which has been UK ‘University of the Year’ five times in six years. With a background in conservation science and mammalian population monitoring, Emma is currently helping to set up and run a pilot National Hedgehog Monitoring Programme.
