What is it that excites, motivates and inspires David to record?

“I’ve enjoyed observing wildlife throughout my whole life and in more recent years realised that observations of wildlife can be much more valuable when you record what you see and then share the information to help encourage others. This is what spurred me on to take on the County Moth Recorder role, focusing on micro moths, for the two Vice Counties in Kent. I really love moth recording; even though I’ve trapped in my garden for many years, every day I run the trap is like Christmas – you never know what you’re going to get!”
