MAPLANGO overview
Maplango is a geospatial consultancy that has been supporting environmental and sustainability projects for over 10 years. It was founded and is run by Matt Davies, who has a long-term relationship with NBN, having worked previously at JNCC and GiGL. Maplango helps organisations collect field survey data; designing surveys and setting up apps and forms in collaboration. Maplango also helps organisations address environmental challenges by ensuring biodiversity data is timely, trusted, and can be used in practical decision-making contexts.
Maplango also run Spatialsesh, which provides practical, on-demand GIS training. Designed for ecologists, by ecologists, our on-demand training and video learning platform is focused on QGIS. Spatialsesh exists to give ecologists both roots and wings: a strong grounding in GIS skills and the empowerment to inform decision making on nature’s behalf.
