UKEOF, in association with the Marine Biological Association, National Biodiversity Network, PEGASEAS and the British Ecological Society Special Interest Groups in Citizen Science and Invasive Species, are holding a workshop on 19th September 2014 at Charles Darwin House, London, on best practice in citizen science, with a focus on invasive non-native species.
This is an international conference looking at the ecology,archaeology and history of peatlands.
This 1-day workshop will be a mix of indoor presentations and a field visit looking at lowland peat bog sphagnum species and their role in the restoration process.
This is a 1-day workshop looking at sphagnum mosses in their upland context. There will be indoor presentations and a field visit to the Big Moor area as part of the day. Suitable for beginners to the subject this is the first in a series of 3 workshops being organised this year by the BES Peatland Special Interest Group
