North West Invertebrates – NBN Group Award
North West Invertebrates is co-ordinated by the Tanyptera Project team based at World Museum, Liverpool. It covers North West England, including Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
What excites the group about recording wildlife and what motivates them to get involved?
“We’re motivated by the opportunity to contribute valuable data, share skills and work collaboratively as a passionate community of entomologists. Every record helps build a better picture of how our wildlife is changing and how important habitats can be conserved for the future. We are excited by the rich diversity of invertebrates in our region, and we really care about recording and conserving them – we want to make a difference!”
