Keiron’s interest in this subject – “There is so much talk of there being an ever-growing burden on a few specialists, and people are coming up with all sorts of technical solutions – but are we overlooking a simpler one? Could we get more people involved in verification? And does this have benefits beyond verification?” 

Keiron is a biological recorder and natural history specialist, managing the National Earthworm Recording Scheme and delivering training and consultancy in biological recording at the Biological Recording Company, where he is a Senior Naturalist. The Biological Recording Company provides training, consultancy and online learning in wildlife identification, biological recording, ecology and conservation, supporting naturalists and professionals across Britain.
