Simon Pickles will be giving a talk on:

“Rooted in Data, Growing Through Time”

Abstract: A look back at the long relationship between NBN Trust and NFBR and a look ahead to how that relationship may develop in the future.

Simon is representing National Forum for Biological Recording (NFBR) and North and East Yorkshire Ecological Data Centre (NEYEDC) in his role as Chair of Trustees for NFBR and Director of NEYEDC.

Simon joined NEYEDC as director in 2000. Soon after, Bill Butcher recruited him to the Council of NFBR. The rest is, as they say, history. NFBR exists as a forum for biological recording and a voice from biological recording to the rest of the ecological data sector.
