Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 pa depending on experience

The National Biodiversity Network Trust is a charitable organisation with a membership that shares biological data and information. The NBN membership includes, many of the UK’s largest wildlife charities and NGO’s, Local Record Centres, government agencies, research institutions, botanic gardens and the public and most of the UK’s national biological recording schemes and societies.
To date, over 220 million records have been shared within the NBN, via our digital data sharing infrastructure, the NBN Atlas, which is still in an early phase of development. We want to develop it to provide a world leading biodiversity digital data sharing platform that provides data, information and services tailored to each of our diverse audiences.
We are seeking a System Developer to work in our small technical team. The postholder will provide ongoing development, testing, maintenance and support of the NBN Atlas. The role will also involve providing guidance, advice and support to a wide range of people from novice users to technical experts.
