Recording outside the honeypot: biological recording in the wider world

9 – 11 May 2019

BTO, The Nunnery, Thetford, Norfolk

Programme

The full programme is still to be completed, but here is a snapshot of what will be discussed at the Conference:

  • Biological recording that occurs outside of nature reserves and frequently visited designated sites
  • How and why to encourage recording at rarely visited nationally and locally designated sites
  • What we have learned as a community about nudging recorders to improve coverage of less attractive / biodiverse landscapes and habitats
  • From islands to farmland – how can recording schemes and centres enable naturalists to gather species and habitat data for conservation and research that better reflects our environment?
